Projects- Sprigs and Twigs Quilt
I never thought that I would fall in love with primitive quilts...but, I have. This is the Sprigs and Twigs pattern from Fons and Porter. I had actually bought the pattern and been looking for fabric to make it when I bought my Tin Lizzie Ram. As with all things in life....one thing led to another. I put my Lizzie upstairs in Amanda's attic bedroom. Of course, Lizzy needed some cushion under her and I found a braided rug that I loved the colors in. Did they match the bedspread in that room? No...but, the colors in the rug were the colors I had bought for this quilt. Now I have a destination for the finished product and I am itching to complete it.
January 8, 2014- I have finished cutting out for all of the log cabin blocks and have 2 made so far. I really love how the colors are coming together.
